2009 CHAKRA YOGA INTENSIVE
September 6-13, 2009
 Join Sraddhasagar (Ruth Hartung), and faculty for a weeklong journey exploring the chakras through yoga, sound, meditation and art. Each day focuses on a single chakra, establishing direct experiences that participants can draw on as teachers, healers or students. Registration (before August 6, 2009): $750. After August 6, $850. Intensive includes:
Morning: Kundalini Yoga Class with music, asana, and other chakra-activation practices. Esoteric psychology and anatomy of that day's chakra. Chakra Yoga class incorporating yantra (symbolism), mantra (sound), and asana (posture).
Afternoon: Delicious vegetarian Ayurvedic lunches help balance the doshas and purify the body, supporting the week's physical and energetic work. Walk and journal among Sedona's Red Rock temples, experiencing the elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether through the landscape. Coloring the chakras, a Tantric practice said to shift the genetic patterning behind personal issues and blocks.
